Alexis I's bride-show by G.Sedov (1882)

Kundera got it wrong! (though he is a beautiful writer)

Try: the Unbearable Heaviness of Meaningless…

Futility in society,

manifest existence.

Death Valley 2

Sometimes,

an overwhelming futility feeling

washes over me

and I lose all energy,

all sense of possibility…

the future is foreboding,

no point in continuing,

no point in anything,

beyond this present moment…

I lie on the floor,

detach,

it’s all I have

and all I can expect.

Luna_ White USA Flag (Sun Faded)

Nothing’s really changed,

but it sure feels like it,

now that I have seen,

perceived, experienced,

loss and death.

Sunshine fades,

pale memories.

Century 21, Rossiya

Swapping one set of problems for another,

alas,

I don’t consider to be success.

To quote the insightful words of Megadeth (1986):

“If there’s a new way, I’ll be the first in line… But it better work this time!”

(Which is to say: No way, no day!)
